The new buzz word is biofield

The National Institute of Health created a term to describe the energy that circulates throughout our body -- the biofield. They associate with many different types of energy medicine.

The circulatory system powered by the heart pumps blood and has a tremendous force as it surges and pulses through all the veins and arteries. The respiratory system powered by the lungs exchanges oxygen with carbon dioxide causing a tremendous exchange of nutrients and waste throughout every cell in the body.

There are other less obvious exchanges going on ... the energy field, as taught in Chinese Medicine, operates in a visible flow and ties together all the organs of the body as well as create a command executor pathway for the brain. French scientists were the first to use radioactive dyes in a person to reproduce those pathways on a person by injecting them in acu-points. Many different scientists figured out that the acu-points are the place of least resistance on the body. Summary of merician existence from EFT site.

To put this in perspective let me add the word balance. For our body to work at its full potential our biofield must be in balance. For our endocrine system to fully express its potential, our neurotransmitters must be in balance. Maybe that is why acupuncture works so well. By balancing the biofield, the rest of the body is affected and moves toward a balanced position. Healing occurs when one does the right things for the body, and the body recovers -- it literally heals itself. So check out these two perspectives -- biofield recovery and neurotransmitter recovery.

December Concert

I had a false start because the date was pushed back one week. So I played the piano a bit a week early to get the members of the Orchard Community a preview. The next week I set up a mike stand and played 1/2 piano and 1/2 guitar. It was so fun to do a concert. I have to do this more often. Music keeps me sane and focused in spite of all the many gyrations that are thrown at us in this life. The expression of music is like a symphony to the spirit. I must do this more often.
